DETERMINATION OF FLUORIDE IN RURAL AREAS OF GUNTUR DISTRICT ANDHRA PRADESH, INDIACHANDALURI SUBBA RAO, B. SREENIVASA RAO AND A.V.L.N.S.H. HARIHARANAbstract Physico Chemical analysis of well and bore well water samples was carried out from sixteen sampling stations of Guntur District (Rural area) for a period of 3 months from October 2009 to December 2009. The analysis of different parameters namely-temperature, pH, color and fluoride were carried out as per standard methods. The results indicate that the fluoride in some sampling stations was above the permissible limits.
