PATRAAbstract The primary productivity of the Nicco Park lake at Bhubaneswar has been estimated from January to December 2002. It varies from 1.09 g cm-2 day-1 to 2.21 g cm-2 day-1. However, the rate of primary productivity is adversely affected by human and animal abuse of the water, industrial effluents and sewage.
