ABNORMAL SEEDLINGS IN GNETLIM LILAS.SIVA SUBRAMANIAN, L. LOUIS, V. JESUDASS, S. MANICKAM, S. SEENI AND S. HARIKRISHNANAbstract The production of abnormal seedlings in Gnehim ula during the germination period using sand as the medium is reported. 5-10% of seeds developed abnormal seedlings. Most of the seedlings produced multiple root and single shoot and these seedlings grew very well in green house conditions (26 ±- 2° C). The healthy seedlings were transferred to polyethylene bags containing sand: soil: farmyard manure 1:2:1 ratio. The well developed seeds were established in the field.
