Abstract

The present investigation was undertaken to study the physico-chemical characteristics of Derla dam water. Seasonal variations in atmospheric temperature, water temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, carbonate alkalinity and carbon dioxide were studied during the year I 999. The water samples were collected monthly from the three sampling stations S,, S2 and S3. During the study, The negative relationship is observed between water temperature and dissolved oxygen and pH and carbon dioxide.
