PHYSICO-CHEMICAI ANALYSIS OF MANJARA DAM BACK WATER OF MANJARA RIVER DHANEGAON, MAHARASHTRA, INDIA

Abstract

The periodical physico -chemical analysis of Manjra Darn ofManjara River Back Water to access the quality of water has been carried out. The parameters such aspH, conductivity, TDS, BOD, COD, DO, chlorides and hardness of water have been studied. For experimentation , water samples were taken periodically at definite distance and period of time from two points, sampling point at Bhalgaon and other at water stored in Dan-i. The Values of physico- chemical parameters are compared.
