SPIRULINA AN AMAZING FOOD AND MEDICINAL SOURCE

Abstract

Spirulina is a simply an amazing food and medicinal source. Spirulina, the blue green algae, is named for its spiral shape. It grows in fresh and brackish inland waters. It possesses an amazing ability to thrive in conditions much too harsh for other algae. It has a highly unusal nutritional profile. There are several new peer reviewed scientific studies about Spirulina' s ability to- inhibit viral replication, strengthen both the cellular and immune system and cause regression and inhibition of cancers.
