Results of water level of hand dug wells in the four tOWIlS NVCIV Heat lv show that the ground water level of Gwagwalada is higher than its neighboi to!- c moined with anthropogenic activities has contributed to the abnormal aiming C,vcagwaltida .-i)mpai,id to other settlements in the region. Above all, Gwagwalada is at the lowest elevation above S1,1 in the region which could also explain its abnormal warmness. This is due to the fact that areas closer to sea levels are quite warmer than areas further above sea level.
