ANALYSIS OF GROUND AND SURFACE WATER SAMPLES FOR TRACES OF PESTICIDESDaisy Raina and P. PadmajaAbstract Ground and surface water samples were collected from selected point from agricultural fields. Pesticide content of these samples were analysed by GLC and identified by comparing with standard reference compounds. The amount of pesticides is found to be more in surface water than ground water.
