MALARIA IN GOTHENBURG 1993-95Suparna Basettia, Johan Lindberg and Masood AhmedaAbstract Seventy one cases of malaria were imported during a span of three years. The annual incidence showed a gradual decline, 1993 (36) > 1994 (21) > 1995 (14). The predominant source of infection was East Africa (46.4%) while the least representation was from the middle East (1.40%). Out of the 7 1 cases reported more than 67% were in males, and 71 patients were < I 4. years.
