Abstract

The intensive irrigation and cultivation that has occurred within the CCA over the past three decades has resulted in a substantial change in the natural vegetation and plant diversity.The loss of floristic diversity in Chambal Command Area is not only an ethical tragedy but also great, social, economic and cultural one.
