ALLELOPATHIC EFFECTS OF DIRERA MURICATA ON AZOTOBACTER

Abstract

Aqueous extracts of root. stern and leaves of Digera muricatu inhibited the growth of Azotobacter under laboratory conditions. The stem extracts were more active than the leaf and root extracts. The shoot leachates were more active after 12 hr of soaking.
