GEOMORPHO-SILVIC ITURA ARIPRAJSAL OF EROSIONAL PAT- TERN OF JASHPUR PLATEAU AN VICINITY

Ashutosh Mishra

Abstract

Geomorphology of an area is the result of asymmetric pattern of erosion. Resulting soil allows many types of vegetation suited for new set of circumstances.Though, there can be no hard and fast rule for vegetation and geology of any area, but on very keen observation, it was traced in Jashpur that type of vegetation can broadly be decided by erosional phase and agent/geological unit combination, (as this can produce soils having versatile nature on edaphic norms). Some species are identified on many aspects and localities having different degree of erosion.
