H.C. Lakshman and Geeta B. Patil

Abstract

Response of Acacia nilotica to inoculation with Comous fasciculatum and or Ruizobium Legaminosarum was studies in phosphorus deficient sterilized soil. G. fasiculatum inoculation alone improved nodulation where as Rhizobium treated plants showed moderate per cent colonization with native mycorrihal fungi. Dual inoculated plants improved nodulation VAM colonization biomass production, nitrogen and phosphorus content of the plants compared to plants, which received single inoculation with either organism.
