PulleAbstract The present paper deals with the study of seasonal variations in water transparency, total solids, total dissolved solids, total suspended solids of the Sirur dam water during the year 2001- 2002. The water transparency was recorded maximum during summer season while minimum during winter season. The total solids, total dissolved solids, total suspended solids were found to be maximum during monsoon and minimum during winter season.
