EFFECT OF ESTABLISHMENT OF CHILLING CENTRE ON COLLECTION OF MILK IN DPAP AREA OF KARJAT, MAHARASHTRA

Abstract

The present study was undertaken on general information of milk producers and quantitative changes in milk collection before and after establishment of milk chilling center in the study area. With respect to quantitative changes in milk collection, that there was a significant increase in quantity of milk collected over previous period. Cow milk was increasingly made available after establishment of chilling center.
