Bipin BihariAbstract This reservoir is located in a low lying area surrounded with temples and dense population, hence under stressed conditions. Chloride content, dissolved, oxygen. SOD, Free carbon dioxide, Bicarbonate content,Total hardness and calcium content of its water showed 'extreme monthly variations.The pH of water ranged between 7-9.3 indicating its alkaline nature. Studies of different parameters were made at two depths where their values varied.
