Abstract

Radioactive distribution pattern around agnieundala mineralised belt has been carried out with a portable radiation survey meter M-12 1C (ECIL) and their respective sample specimens of each location have been subjected to y-ray single channel analyser SC 604 (B (ECIL) and determined radiation levels. Granitic rocks expresses very high values of cumulative radiation levels varying from 1752 to 12264 mIZIY relative to all other associated lithoun its. These high level radiations are proved to establish carcinomic diseases. Recommended for detailed monitoring on dosimetry basis and exploration surveys for radioactive mineral deposits.
