ASSESSMENT OF NOISE LEVEL IN SOME CITIES OF AHMEDNAGAR DISTRICT, INDIA AND HEARING LOSSG.M. PONDHE, J.R. DIXIT AND A.J. DHEMBAREAbstract In present investigation an attempt has been made to study the noise level in different cities of A hmednagar district and hearing loss in fifteen persons who were working in same environment for long period. It is clear that some sites in each city studied were polluted and noise values cross the standard limits. Which in turn reflect suspected noise induced deafness (N1D) for both right and left ear of persons of different age.
