HISTOPATHOLOGICAL CHANGES IN THE INTESTINE OF THE FISH, CHANNA GACHLIA EXPOSED TO TANNERY EFFLUENT

Abstract

Channa gachua was exposed to sublethal concentration of Untreated and treated Tannery effluent. In first set, fish were exposed to 96 LC5oconcentration of Untreated effluent (0.6620%) and 96h LC50 concentration of treated effluent (1.7273%) for the period of 45 days and histopathological changes of intestine was investigated. Recovery was observed in intestine of treated effluent.
