ELDOAbstract Extract of Aegle marmelos, used in traditional medicine for the treatment of various infections were screened for antibacterial activity.in the present investigation soxhlet extracts of leaves stern and root of this plant in different solvents at different concentrations were tried against five different strains of bacteria. The extracts tested possessed various degrees of antibacterial activity.
