ULTRASOUND INVESTIGATION STUDIES ON DISRUPTION OF ESCHERICHIA COLIM. NARSI REDDY, K.SWATHI, B. NAGAMANI, S.V. RANGANAYAKULU AND S. VENKATESHWARAbstract The Ultrasonic investigation studies have been carried out the inactivation of E.coli for determining the effectiveness of ultrasound and its impact. Ultrasound waves of frequency of 36 kHz used to expose the aqueous suspension of E.coli. Ultrasound waves strongly influences on the disruption of E.coli in water. The inactivation occurs highly at the highest ultrasonication time. This ultrasonication studies shov■ 4 that ultrasonication of 36 kHz is capable of inactivating E.coli up to some level of degree of disruption.
