BIOREMEDIATION OF ZINC AND CADMIUM FROM WASTEWATER BY THE NONLIVING BIOMASS OF PSEUDOMONAS OLEOVORANSNEHA SINGH AND RANU GADIAbstract The proposed method was applied for the removal of Zn and Cd metals present in the wastewater samples collected from the outlet of Upper lake of Bhopal (India). Concentrations of Zn and Cd were 3.04 mg/L and 0.16 mg/L respectively. This method could remove 65.4% Zn and 59.2% Cd from the wastewater.
