Abstract

Noise pollution is the excessive noise that may harm the day to day activity of human beings. The main source of noise is the emerging industries and transport facilities. The high noise level will lead to severe health (both physical and psychological) hazards and even permanent hearing loss. The Indian government has policy against permissible noise level for firecrackers and loudspeakers, but application of such laws is extremely negligent. The paper analyzes about the a variety of sources of noise pollution, consequences of over noising, process to prevent excess noise and suggestions to avoid noising
