Abstract

During 21st century, the essential plant nutrients would be the single most important factor limiting crop yields, and mineral nutrition alone has contributed significantly to increased crop yields. In order to study the effects of foliar micronutrient grain yield and yield components of sunflower a field experiment with six micronutrient treatments and three replications was conducted in 2011 cropping season in Zahedan, Iran. Micronutrient treatments were foliar application in separated method of Fe, Zn, Mn, and in mixed method of Fe+Zn, Fe+Mn, Zn+Mn. Obtained results showed that use of foliar micronutrient increased grain yield in water stress on the other hand, use of Mn foliar application had the highest positive effect on yield components and grain yield.
