They are an important food source for juvenile fish. The biochemical composition includes protein, lipid, carbohydrate and substances of stimulatory and it has antibiotic nature. The higher protein content withmaximum protein Sesuvium sp (40.11%), Salicornia sp (39.11%) and Suaeda maritima (37.11%) were recorded in the present study. Potential utility of indigenous saltmarsh as probable food and feed supplement and utility as fertilizer.
