Soil available micronutrient staus was analyzed from 233 surface (0 – 15 cm depth) samples collected from cultivated soils of Nizamabad district. The soils were loam to clay texture. Availale micronutrient status was determined by DTPA extractant and atomic absorption spectrometer (AAS). Soil available zinc was deficient in 27.8% of samples. The available Fe content ranged from 5.56 to 7.96 with a mean value 7.19 and Mn status ranged from 5.5 to 21.92 with a mean value of 13.25 whereas, the available Cu ranged from 0.41 to 1.84 mg kg-1 of soil with a mean value of 1.1.
