Abstract

An investigation was carried out to study Effect of organic manures and inorganic fertilizers on yield and alkaloid content of Makoi Under hill zone of Karnataka during 2013-2014 at Agricultural and Horticulture Research Station, Thirthahalli, University of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences, Shimoga. During September 2013 to January 2014. Application of Vermicompost (1t/ha) + 100% RD NPK ha-1 was found beneficial for getting higher yield, maximum alkaloid content under hill zone of Karnataka.
