KiradAbstract An experiment was conducted on sandy clay loam soil of the Research Farm of College of Agriculture, Tikamgarh, Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya Jabalpur, M.P., India. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design with nine replications with different dates of planting during the period from October 2008-2011 and followed the recommended agronomic practices. The crop was sown on three dates in the different years to expose the crop to in different weather conditions during the various phonological stages.
