Kapil Joshi and Vinay Sharma

Abstract

This paper gives a brief account of developments, under the ambit of United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), in the tracts of global climate change. These accounts show various hopes, plans, prospects and proportions on one hand and equally consider some provocations and protests on the other. The paper tries to draw a panorama of events along with an expository of opinions on climate change initiatives. It’s critical in a way as it expresses he merits as well as the faults of various negotiations in an analytical way .The paper is descriptive and presents illustrations of the real life happenings from the beginning in UN Conference on Human Environment (1972) to Conference of Parties in Warsaw (2013). Some of the author’s interpretative outcomes may seem to be rudimentary as many a times negotiations carry hidden agendas with them and the real inferences either remain cryptic or undetected for a long time.
