Abstract

Income Generation Activities are the most essential part of the sustainable development of the poor women and are an answer for sewing balanced development of economy of the poor women. In rural areas women are associated with various categories of IGAs such as of agro based, food based and other activities to get financial resource. Sustainable income generation activities are found to be feasible solution for economic independence and empowerment and to bring changes in the life style of rural women. IGAs are the part and parcel of Sthree Shakthi Group activities which formed and monitored though the Dept. of Women and child development
