Abstract

The article describes assaying of geological materials to select prospective areas in the southern periphery of the ZaysanDepression, followed by analysis of material composition of bentonite clays. The study of genetic and geochemical processes of formation of deposits with analysis of lithological and mineralogical composition and properties. The development of geological and genetic model of the promising deposits of bentonite clays. A key mineral of bentonite clays ismontmorillonite mineral –a natural sorbent that can supply the needed micronutrients to animal organism. Scientific and practical recommendations on the use of mineral active additives in experimental bases were developed.
