THE UTILIZATION ANALYSIS COASTAL DISTRICT OF JENU TUBAN AS LAND VANNAMEI SHRIMP WITH GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM (GIS)

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the suitability of land use vannamei shrimp farms in coastal Jenu District of Tuban. The method used in this research is a field survey methods for the analysis of the development of farms and spatial data analysis to determine the direction of land use. Primary data obtained by field survey and analysis of the data from the image Scan Map RBI Jenu region, and Image Scan Map LPI Bancar region. The collection of secondary data from official publications issued by the relevant institutions both Government and private agencies in the form of Topographic Map of the study area, while the execution time from 26 July to 8 September 2015. The results of the identification of potential farm land resources based on the type of soil or ground Alluvial sediment ponds dominated by Village Sugihwaras to Beji based on analysis of spatial, for the village Remen, Tasikharjo, partly Purworejo and Temaji there is land Mediterranean, for Purworejo village to village Blu Jowo Bancar contained soil types Litosol and Gramusol, to the village Jenggolo to village Sumurgeneng contained soil types Regusal. Based on geological conditions / soil in coastal areas in general are the District Jenu slope between 0-2% which lies between 0- 100 asl, district road network already covers all of the farms that need further development. The existence of the industrial area around districts Jenu directly effect the environment of aquaculture.
