Abstract

Solid waste management problem issues are increasing over the world due to increase in population every year. This paper deals with the review of solid waste management across the world. In this paper an attempts has been made to provide review the characteristics, generation, collection, transportation, disposal and treatment technologies of solid waste management over the world. We focus the waste generated across the world and the treatment. Detailed data on solid waste management practices including collection, recovery and disposal have been presented.
