COW URINE DISTILLATE, AN ETHNO MEDICINAL TOOL TO MODERN DAY THERAPEUTICS: A REVIEW

Abstract

Cow, a member of bovine family is a mobile medical van. Cow produces Panchgavya that are having pharmacological and therapeutic value. The chronic ailments such as cancers and hemolytic disorders etc. can be cured by continuous use of cow urine distillate. Cow urine is served as elixir of life. Cow urine is having antimicrobial, antineoplastic, diuretic and Fibrinolytic activity. In addition to that it is also having the erythropoietic stimulating factors that are responsible for potent erythropoiesis. The cow urine distillate also serves as Biopesticide and bioenhancer, hence it can enhance the bioavailability of the agents used in chemotherapy such as antibacterial, antifungal and antineoplastic agents. Cow urine also has role as immune stimulant and antioxidant so it can prolong the life expectancy of the cells. In this context the present review will help to understand the basic utility of cow urine and their therapeutic application in the near future.
