THE ROLE OF RURAL ADMINISTRATION IN RURAL SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT EMPHASIZING ECONOMIC DIMENSIONS CASE STUDY: GALABAD CITY, IRANHamid Jafari, Mohammad Reza Sedghi and Katayoon AlizadehAbstract New rural management emerged mid 1990s. Some scholars suggested this model as a successful and the other hand some said it was a new form of the old dominant. Research area of the present study was all villages of Gonabad city (in The Khorassan Razavi Province) which have rural Manager. The applied methodology was descriptive-analytic; needed data was assembled through documentary and field studies. Target population was consisting of all Heads of the family in rural areas among which 338 people were selected through the application of Morgan approach. A questionnaire was randomly distributed among this sample size. The achieved findings indicated a weak and inefficient effect of rural management on economic sustainable development in the studied area.
