DEVELOPMENT OF AN ELECTRONIC PROGRAM FOR KEEPING BREEDING RECORDS IN HORSE BREEDING IN THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

Abstract

The issues of forming a multilevel information system – an electronic database - for keeping of breeding records in horse breeding in the Republic of Kazakhstan have been considered. A model program – configuration “Horse breeding – centralized keeping of breeding records” has been developed. This model takes into account the current requirements to organization and maintenance of keeping of breeding records, existing norms and standards that regulate the use of standardized accounting methods of accounting for horse population, and performing analysis of productivity with biometric processing of a selected group of animals with calculation of the arithmetic mean values, mean square deviations, and other genetic and breeding herd parameters for various productivity indicators.
