Abstract

The article considers the influence of zero, minimum and conventional tillage on the morphological characteristics of the water-physical properties, chemical composition and the yield of spring wheat. Studies have shown that zero and minimum tillage of spring wheat contributes to the most complete accumulation of moisture in the soil, and its rational use. In terms of moisture, density, and moisture reserves, zero and minimum tillage in the half-meter layer of soil are equivalent, with a slight advantage of zero tillage. The research performed in the subzone of southern chernozems suggested the need to perform in all natural zones of Kazakhstan the study of development and improvement of the resource-saving technologies of growing crops based on the minimum and zero tillage for obtaining cost-effective and environmentally safe agricultural products.
