EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION AND STUDY OF ENVIRONMENTAL FMEA ON SEWER PIPE JOINTS OF CHEMICAL INDUSTRIESA. Arul Kumar and R.A. SankaranAbstract This paper aims to evaluate the experimental investigations of implemented Environmental Failure mode effective analysis in the sewer pipe of a dying factory. So far the Risk priority number was calculated in conventional methods in the industry earlier and the pipes used were GI pipes for sewage in those factories. The conventional results were not validated clearly and were not homogenous with the actual results. Hence it was very fractious throughout for the realsome and trustful results. This research focuses on the impinged ECDFEM (Environmental Concern of Design Failure Effects and Modes). The experimental investigations were carried in the implementation of FRP sewer pipes in dying factories and the FRP joints were analyzed systematically and its measure of quality were analyzed. These investigations are formulated and the risk priority numbers of the FRP sewer pipe joints were being manufactured with the considerations of its durability and fatigue strength for the transfer of the sewage adequately. The EDCFEM is being validated with AHP. As per the considerations the minimum value of Risk Priority Number of the sewer joints are taken into consideration and thereby the pattern of frp joints a values are taken into consideration.
