As a city that will develop smartcity system, Semarang city government should be more concerned to the system in handling waste by utilizing Information Technology (IT), therefore the goal becomes clean city could be realized. The advantages of this IT should be utilized as a medium to cultivate awareness of environmental information, such as information of the accumulation of waste, flood, fire, congestion, etc. This research will look for waste management model by utilizing information technology using internet media and smart phone as tools for more effective and efficient waste management. The role of this information technology will be combined with waste banks or Integrated Waste Management Place (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) to make waste management of non-domestic sources runs effectively.
