GREEN BUILDING ASSESMENT OF BRAWIJAYA UNIVERSITY BASED ON GBCI GREENSHIP EXISTING BUILDING RATING TOOLS VERSION 1.1 BY GAP ANALYSIS

Abstract

World’s environmental damage and climate change push all infrastructure establishment and community culture toward green living and green development. Green building is a building which since its design, construction, operation, and maintenance exhibits aspect of preserve, retrench, and diminish natural resources usage, maintains indoor air quality, and heeds its occupant health based on the continous establishment regulation. Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI) has rating system called greenship. Greenshipuse scoring criteria based on local regulation. After scoring by rating system, analysis is done using gap analysis method. Gap analysis identify the gap between expected performance and actual performance. By doing gap analysis, we could identify what we need for bridging the happening gap. Green building scoring result towards GBCI Greenship Existing Building Rating Tools Version 1.1 at Brawijaya University is 40. The score indicates that Brawijaya University is in bronze rank. From interpretation of gap analysis done before, Brawijaya University only gets percentage score of 34,2% with gap percentage score of 65.8% which refers that Brawijaya University is still in “poor” state.
