Abstract
A study has been made to assess the reviving ability of cells of primary cultures treated with different percentage of serum and stored under refrigerated condition. The primary chicken embryo fibroblast cells can be stored up loll days at 4°C using 30% serum. The primary culture cells cannot be maintained continuously after certain period of time. Hence a storage of primary cells under refrigerated condition could bean alternative method of maintenance of primary cells A virus replicates and produced crop thic effect within 48-72 hrs was paksaged 4-5 times using a one time stored COP cells
