Abstract
In order to evaluate the effects of inorganic and organic source with enhancing the growth and yield of rice. The field experiment was conducted in farmerââ¬â¢s field at Varagurpettai Village, Chidambaram (TK), Cuddalore (DT). The experiment with randomized block design with three replications using rice variety ASD-16 in the seasonââ¬â¢s Rabi 2023. The treatment details namely, T1ââ¬âAbsolute control, T2 - Optimized RDF (113% NPK) + poultry manure @ 5 t ha-1, T3 - Optimized RDF (113% NPK) + poultry manure @ 5 t ha-1 + NPK Consortia 1 litre ha-1, T4 - Optimized RDF (113% NPK) + poultry manure @ 5 t ha-1 + Nanozinc 0.2 % (2FS), T5- Optimized RDF (113% NPK) + poultry manure @ 5 t ha-1 + Soil Application ZnSO4 37.5 kg ha-1, T6 - Optimized RDF (113% NPK) + poultry manure @ 5 t ha-1 + Nanozinc 0.2 % (2FS) + Soil application ZnSO4 37.5 kg ha-1, T7 - Optimized RDF (113% NPK) + poultry manure @ 5 t ha-1+ NPK Consortia 1 litre ha-1 Nanozinc 0.2 % (2FS), T8 - Optimized RDF (113% NPK) + poultry manure @ 5 t ha-1 + NPK Consortia 1 litre ha-1+ Soil application ZnSo4 37.5 kg ha-1, T9 - Optimized RDF (113% NPK) + poultry manure @ 5 t ha-1 +NPK Consortia 1 litre ha-1 + Nanozinc 0.2 % (2FS)+ Soil application ZnSO4 37.5 kg ha-1. The initial pH and EC of the soil status was registered 8.0 and 1.9 d Sm-1. The initial status of available N (139 kg ha-1), P (8.9 kg ha-1) and K (178 kg ha-1) was recorded. The micronutrients such as DTPA-Zn, Fe, Cu and Mn content of the soil which recorded 0.69, 12.30, 0.49 and 9.21 mg kg-1. The results showed that growth, yield and yield attributes of rice was superiorly increased by the application of T9 - Optimized RDF (113% NPK) + poultry manure @ 5 t ha-1 + NPK Consortia 1 litre ha-1 + Nanozinc 0.2 % (2FS) + Soil application ZnSO4 37.5 kg ha-1. The lowest growth and yield was observed (T1) Treatment.
