Abstract
Arbuscular rnycorrhizal fungi are an integral part of the root system of most plants and constitute an important group of organisms in the soil microbiol community. Pseudomonas fluorescence is a common bacterium in the rhizosphere. In the present study the interaction effects of these inoculants on biochemical constituents of the leaves and the enzyme activities of the roots are studied. It is concluded that inoculation of AM fungi with a PGPR organism Pseudomonas may very well contribute for increased leaf biomass which \ \ill result in improved economic value of the silkworm.
