Abstract
The antimicrobial potential of Pseudarthria viscida roots has been studied using petroleum ether, chloroform and ethanol extracts against six bacterial strains and four fungal strains by agar well diffusion method. The ethanol extract found to be highly effective against all tested microbes in comparison to standard drug ciprofloxacin and griseofulvin.
