Abstract
Dried powdered flowers of Woodfordia fruticosa Kurz. were extracted successively with various solvents and evaluated for various phytoconstituents and their percentage yields. The alcoholic extract showed dose dependant, broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity. 100 mg of extract showed comparable activity to that of the standards.
