Abstract
Recent attention has been given to less pollution practices in modern agriculture. Injudicious use of agrochemicals has deteriorated soils and plant system and thereby making harmful effects on surrounding ecology. A comprehensive attempt was made to evaluate the feasibility of soil applied agrochemicals namely Zn fertilizer in combination with biofertilizers and pesticides in maize through seed treatments for reducing the chemical load as per local needs. It was found that effect of seed treatment was comparable to soil application in increasing crop production.
