Abstract
Malathion induced changes in the haemogram of Rana hexadactyla have been described, sublethal exposure to the pesticide for 24 hrs. and 48 hrs. duration resulted in remarkable elevation in TEC while Hb %, the absolute values, erythrocyte indices and TLC recorded significntly lower values. The overall responses in the haemogram of the pesticide exposed frogs can be summarized as microcytic hypochromic anaemia and leucocytopenia.
