Abstract

GA 75 ppm treatment registered the maximum length (8.60 cm) and diameter (6.37 cm) of fruit and reduced the weight of 100 seeds ( I .44 g). It also improved the volume of fruit (218.17 m1). Maximum volume of fruit (222.0 ml) was recorded by GA3 75 ppm treatment at 606 day after fruit set. NAA treatments improved the percentage of aril and rind. The overall results indicated that GA3 75 ppm treatment increased the volume and size (length and diameter) of fruit and decreased the 100 seeds weight. Therefore, it is recommended to spray GA) 75 ppm at 60th day after fruit set for obtaining larger fruits with better fruit quality.
