Abstract

A study of the ground water of North, South, East and West regions of Mansa Taluka in Gujarat state, India have been carried out to examine its suitability for drinking purpose as per WHO standards. The analysis of variance and t-test have been applied for comparative study of water quality parameters among various regions of Mansa Taluka. The varinace was found significant at 1% level of significance in case of EC, TDS, Total hardness and Chloride contents and at 5% level of significance in case of Magnesium hardness, Sulphate and Dissolved oxygen contents among the water samples of four regions of Mansa Taluka.
