FUNGAL SPORE DIVERSITY OF BAJARA FIELD OF MALEGAON, INDIA

Abstract

The present investigation deals with the diversity of Fungal spores of Bajara field at Malegaon, Dist. Nasik, Maharashtra. This study was carried out for two kharif seasons from July-October 2001 and Julyoctober 2002. In all 46 Fungal spores comprising 3 Phycomycetes, 12 Ascomycetes, 3 Basidiomycetes and 28 Deuteromycetes have been recorded. The spores of Deuteromycetes dominated over other classes of Fungi.
